The Farmhand: A Slow-Burn Gay Farm Romance Series

This is a slow-burn gay farm romance about desire, denial and wanting the one person you shouldn’t.

There’s something about farmers that inspires a fantasy in many of us. A hot, masculine farmer, in jeans, open checked shirt, sweating as he drives his tractor across a farm. Or his horse.

Or maybe I’m just fantasising he’s hung like one.

This life-long fantasy inspired a new series I kicked off about a farm boy called Levi. Levi’s nineteen, hot, got his own barn on the family farm and knows exactly what he’s doing out there. He’s also a bit of a horse whisperer.

His sister’s getting married, and that will leave him and his parents to run the farm. The issue for Levi is that he’s not ready to find a girl, get married, have kids and take over the farm.

Maybe he never will.

When the farmhand arrives unexpectedly on Levi’s farm, they connect and work well together like he’d always been there, and that’s exactly what makes it a problem.

The problem is that Rodney is exactly what Levi doesn’t need, but can’t seem to stop wanting.

And that’s where it starts to go wrong.

I love writing all my stories, but this one has gripped me. Through the characters, including Simon the lamb, I’m exploring a fantasy that I didn’t even know I had until I created this series.

Levi is navigating a complex set of issues, expectations, projection and a yearning he really can’t have, especially in a world where everything around him is quietly pushing him toward a life he’s not sure he wants.

And the more he tries to hold that line, the harder it becomes to pretend nothing’s happening.

You’ll love Simon. The rest… you can decide for yourself.

Start with chapter one here.
