So, I’m a bit confused. Does Slut suck or should I continue? The feedback from my regular readers, beta’s and editors was good. But in the real world, on Amazon for example, it doesn’t look so good. Slut has a current rating of 3.6 with too many 1, 2 and 3 stars for me to continue the series. There’s hardly enough data on the sequel to determine worthiness. So I’ve stopped. I like, and I believe I’m good at writing Slutty Stories, but need your input.

I need YOU to tell me, or I simply won’t continue the Slut series. At this point in time, I have no desire nor motivation to continue Slut, which is a shame, because we took the time to drag Dale out to the countryside and strip him naked for the cover…

Also, for those of you who aren’t aware, there’s a bit of naughty content on a few sites now, namely Literotica and Nifty, who have both been gracious and welcoming. Also, a new one I started on Gay Demon, which has done well, so my slutty stories will continue there hopefully.

The Dark Place or Slutty Stories

One of these stories is now half a book, so I’ll soon be looking for beta readers for this. If you’re keen, please let me know. The story is up to episode 9 on both sites, but I’ve got 12 parts written down and ready for final edits. While you might be thinking, ‘is this jerk really going to turn his free slutty stories into a book and expect us to pay for it’?

The short answer to that is yes, and you’ll do it because you love me and you know I need to make a living somehow. But the long answer to that is, no, the book will be quite different. Edited well, additional stories will be added, back stories, characters fleshed out, meaningful relationships. Generally a story line will be weaved throughout, along with the usual villains, good and bad things. The usual beta readers will get to digest it first and help me reshape it so it is worthy of a Fox Emerson book. You never know, I might even call it Slutty Stories.

For those of you who have read and enjoyed ‘The Hole in the Door‘, you’ll know that the book has to be solid and engaging before I release it.

The Dark Place is the current working name, though it will highly likely change names by completion.

Look guys, it’s 2021, and the world is skipping forward quickly,. Whether we keep up with it or not. The time for you to sit by silently and say nothing, is over. Speak, or before you know it, the year will be 2031. Then you’ll wish you’d helped shape the direction of your favourite content. The world needs more good quality, enjoyable MM Romance. Also, I just wanted an ode to Sonia Ostberg. Sonia was my primary editor and beta reader for earlier books. These were, Monique, Toby, Mr. 303, A Boy Called Q, The Life of Q, Lucy and Circle in the Sand. I can honestly say that without Sonia, these books may have been quite different. Or perhaps, not existed at all. Sonia was a dear, long-term friend who passed away on 30th April 2021 during the night. She is in the credits of all the books she helped shape. I miss her dearly.
